Audrey has arrived!!!

Our little Audrey has arrived. She was not so little though. She weighed 9lbs and was 20 and 3/4 inches long. She was born Thursday August 21st. She is so beautiful. Nolan doesnt quiet know what to think of her yet, but he is adjusting fine. Layne is being such a big help. She loves to hold her. Layne starts her swim team class today. She is quiet the little swimmer. I am heading to Georgia tomorrow to stay with Dana for the rest of the week. Chris will be off the rest of this week to help Kelly. I am very thankful that both babies are here and well and their moms are doing well also. When I get home I plan to post pictures.

Getting ready for Audrey

Kelly will be admitting in the hospital at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow to be induced. We are all surprised she has held on this long. I think she must hear her big brother, Nolan, who will be two in October, and she may be a little scared to enter into this world. Her sister, Layne who is 7 now will be very proctective of her I am sure. She will be a good big sister and a lot of help to Kelly. Rob and Forrest have to get up at 4:00 to be at Kellys to take care of Layne and Nolan while Chris and I are with Kelly. They are really looking forward to that. This will be number 10 for Rob and I. God has truly blessed us with so many wonderful people to love. To me a loving, close family is the richest blessing we can recive in this world.

Joshua is here!!!

We were expecting Kelly to have her baby first, but Joshua had other plans. I received a call from Dana after her doctors' visit Wednesday telling me her blood pressure was elevated and her doctor wanted to do her c-section Thursday instead of the 20th. I came home and threw a few things in the car and was off to Georgia. Joshua was born Thursday at 1:45 p.m.. He weighed 6lbs 14 ozs and was 20 and 3/4 inches long. He is adorable and healthy. Dana is doing great and they are home now. I came home Friday and am now waiting on a call at any time from Kelly. She was 3 centimeters dialated on her doctors visit Friday. I bought a camera and will hopefully figure out how to post pictures soon.

Waiting on two new grandbabies

I have two daughters, Kelly and Dana, who are ready to deliver at any time now. Kelly is in North Tampa and Dana is in middle Georgia. I am hoping to be able to help them both somehow. So far I have been able to be at all of my daughters and daughter-in-law deliveries. Since the girls are due at the same time I don't see how this will be possible. This makes me feel very sad. I know the Good Lord will be there with them both. Kelly is having a girl, Audrey, which will give her two girls and one boy, and Dana is having a boy, Joshua, which will give her a girl and a boy. This will give Rob and I a total of ten wonderful grandchildren. We will now have six granddaughters and four grandsons. Thank you God for all of them.
